The photos from my tour in Morocco aren’t exactly coming in any specific order… in fact, I’ve spent most of my days being back working, and lamenting the fact that I’m not living overseas. One of the memorable nights in Morocco was in Marrakech, where we had dinner in Djemaa el Fna, which is a giant square in the medina. By day, there are snake charmers, monkey trainers, ladies accosting you with henna tattoos, fresh orange juice stalls, and lots of little knick knack shops.

At the end of the day, all these disappear and tons of little restaurants are set up that serve you stuff like these grilled meats pictured, egg sandwiches, sheeps’ heads (which I unfortunately did not try!), snails, and much much more. Luckily we had a guide with us because sometimes they don’t give the fresh stuff to the tourists! But I definitely need to go back… one night in that place just isn’t enough!
